When developing basketball skill, players must first master the basic skill of any move. From there they can start to develop moves that can be used in games.
Ball handling can lead to being able to develop into a slasher with the ball or a pick and roll player. Once a player can master the move, they then start to build misdirection set ups to get the move off against good defense.
